A 'Newbie' in the Office!

Hello All,

My name is Osato and I have just started working as the Database Developer here at NRAS. I am the ‘newbie’ as I have only been here for just over three weeks! I have joined as part of the Rank Foundation’s Time to Shine Programme, which supports people who want to gain experience working with charities and also give the charity the opportunity to have an extra pair of hands for a specific project.

I will be working at NRAS for a year to ensure that the new database is well supported, designed and managed. Although I come from a technical background, I am not the geeky type and I love to socialise and meet people – I look forward to meeting some of you over the next year!

I feel blessed and privileged to be working here alongside these lovely, friendly & hospitable people. It seems to me that NRAS is so good at what it does because they show genuine compassion and work so hard at supporting and helping RA sufferers. I am really humbled by the dedication, support and commitment everyone shows.

As I will be here for a while, I am sure I will find myself helping out in other departments in the organisation. I also look forward to participating in future events to raise funds and support the charity.

Have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards
Osato
